THE BACKSTORY

A brief history

In a time long past, there was peace in the world. The seven races lived together in harmony, and all was right. But then, over 1000 years ago, something happened. No one who lives today knows what exactly it was, but it is known that it was what started the great World War. The Angelic races of the Romanii and the now-extinct Romilus, and the Demonic races of the Revaer, the Sek'ishk, and the Cubi declared war against eachother, and thus began the Angel / Demon war. The Humans stayed out of the conflict at first, but when the first blood of the war was shed on Irthan ground, the Humans took action. Men of all over Irth joined the military, either to fight alongside the Demons, the Angels, or to fight them both off and have peace on the continent once more. The Rohgedyn, a race of Angel-Demon hybrid creatures, were actively hunted down by all races, and driven into the heart of Deepwood, where they remain to this day. The blood of millions paints picture of the World War, and there are those who believe it will take a million more untill it is over. That remains to be seen...
