I watch the two from under my eye lids as I feigned sleep. I flickered my gaze over to the other carriage and then back. It was of no interest and wouldn't affect us unless it tried to block the road.

I wasn't exactly sure on what to do once I left the Altmer, but I assumed I would just walk for a while, find an inn, or a place similar.

I'd suggested that we finish our drinks and leave at once, which we did. I'd found tracks, that could only have been from the wolf, no doubt having killed and fled.

I place my helm on my head and slide the tattered cape up, concealing my mouth.

"Onward to kill your wolf."

I motion for him to lead ahead.

I crouch at another foot print, the next one being a human one.

"It changed."

This was fine with me, I'd spent years hunting it, I knew it's human appearance almost as well as my own.

"It's likely to be hiding in the next town, these tracks are quite fresh."

I formulate a plan.

"You can scout him out, and I'll lure him in into a corner."

I look up to the sky.

I stand up, setting off at a fast walk in the direction of the tracks.

We follow the trail through the county side until it runs onto a road. I spot a town ahead.

a shiver went down my spine as we neared the edge of the town. Killing a werewolf was a new for me, I was excited and a little nervous. I clear my mind and prepare myself.
