I sit down against the wall next to the door and watch everyone else settle in for the night. My eyes droop close and sleep overtakes me. I don't know how long it was until i jumped awake, scattering both the Py'ver and Sla'vesh.

I half contemplate whether to kick him for his comment, but decided i was too glad of a comfy bed to care.

I was getting to that part, before you interrupted.

I sit down on the floor again and close my eyes, blocking out every sense i had. Slowly i felt the vines in my head, their very life force.

I move the vines, not by much at first. It's like learning a new body part all over again, you have to slowly become used to the limitations. Those with me would not be able to see through the darkness, but all above them now the vines were moving. I felt the coldness of metal touch the warm rubber of the vine.

I slowly wrapped one of the vines around the key and lifted it. I could feel the weight of it almost pressing down on my mind itself. I hadn't really practised this too much. My Virden use was more for the cultivation of herbal ingredients and knowledge of medicines. I hold the key above me and drop it, letting my mind snap back to my body at the same time as outstretching my hand so the key could fall into it

Hmm.

I stand up and unlock the door, walking through it and collapsing onto one of the beds inside the first room. There was at least 15 beds in here and i didnt care which i had.

I was extremely tired. I hadn't slept that night in the cave and my use of magic had drained what little energy i had gained from the short rest outside. I had to keep my eyes open until everyone else had fallen asleep first. I couldn't trust them, even now.

I force myself up off of the bed. I needed some water to wake up a little bit. I stretched on the spot and slowly meandered my way around the beds.
