Continuation of the Marvelous Misadventures of Nerim and Jisr

I walk up into the ring and get Malice ready.
"Heh. This is gonna fair. You ready?"

=i nod, and push the facemask down. The eye slits give me an interesting view on things, as the corners of my vision are blocked off, but only in the actual corners, if you picture my vision like my a square. I swung Meris back and forth getting ready=

I stand in a defensive stance, waiting for him to go first. I'm more of a defensive soldier anyway.

=i spin and swing Meris with a backhand slash, sending the blunter side towards Jisr from my left side=

I flip Malice over so its vertical and block/catch Meris. Holding Meris at the angle that turns from handle to blade. The corner of the weapon, so to say.

=i quickly pull up and then down on Meris' chain, trying to knock Malice from Jisr's grasp=

We struggle for a second before Malice falls from a pull on it's top, releasing Meris. Malice is still in my right hand so I use the momentum to spin Malice back into my left hand. Then I lift it up to chest height and pointed at Nerim.

=as Meris drops I pull and rotate my arm so Meris flies over my head and heads at Jisr on a horizontal swing from my right side, about hip height=

I drop from my stance and drop Malice at Meris' chain. Hitting it okay. Which stopped some of the speed but not all of it. Obviously I wasn't thinking.
Because Meris cuts into my lower left leg. The pain is immediate. I bend down and take a look at it.
Not terrible. Looks like a flesh wound only.

=Meris wrapped around Malice and was caught on the chain, preventing me from pulling it back. I gave a quick yank, but got nowhere=

I blocked out the pain and stood up. Malice gripped with both hands. Meris hanging tightly to Malice. I try to yank it from Nerim, playing a game of tug o' war.

=i noticed the blood drip off of Meris and called over, still pulling on the chain=
Hey, you okay? I didn't hit you too badly?

Okay, the pain isn't that easy to ignore, but small enough to push past it.
"Don't worry 'bout me, I'll be fine. I'd be more worried about yourself."
I twist Malice around so I can get the blade into one of the chain loops, then use the leverage to help me pull.

=i barely manage to keep my grip on Meris. I wrap the chain around my hand to see if I can keep a hold. I grunt with the effort=

We stand there for minute, pulling and tugging. That's until I give out and drop Malice. Nerim being a Revaer, thus stronger then me.
I stand there for second staring at Nerim, knowing I just lost this battle. Even then I don't give up. I grab my knife and yank it out of it's sheath.

=i let Meris and Malice drop and get into a boxing stance. If this was a real fight, there would be no time to untangle the weapons, and i didn't have a spare blade=

"No secondary weapon eh? You might want to change that."
I flash a smile and sheath the blade.

=i chuckle=
No need. I grew up learning to improvise. I can handle myself.

=i run at Jisr pulling a hand back to send a fist towards his face=

I thought this was over!
Without time to think how to dodge, I instinctively mirror Nerim.

=i turn my punch into a grab and roll. Latching onto his arm and dropping to the floor, rolling away from him to try and pull him onto the ground=

I stood my ground when he dropped but barely. When he rolled away I was forced to the ground anyway.

=i let go of his arm and rolled away before jumping onto him and keeping him pinned=
You give up?

I think on how I might escape this. Ultimately futile.
"Yeah.. ya got me."

=i chuckle and push the facemask up to show a grinning face before getting up and extending a hand to help him up=

I grab his hand and pull myself up, very carefully though. Leg wound 'n' all.
"You wouldn't have beaten me if I had been ready."
I laugh lightly to show it was a joke.
